SPS are committed to promoting and maintaining Health & Safety issues associated with storage equipment by providing Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme (SEIRS) training for installation teams.
SEIRS training ensures that proper safety skills and knowledge are acquired by individual installers in various aspects of the installation process supporting Storage Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (SEMA) Codes of Practice and Installation Guidelines for all aspects of the Storage Equipment Industry.
The Installation Guideline has been developed with close attention to safety and best practice in the installation of shelving, racking and other storage products. It covers product design and assembly and cross references other standards including SEMA codes and legislation such as the Construction Design and Manufacture (CDM) regulations.
